Is IMC Africa Forward Foundation a registered nonprofit?
Yes. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the United States. The Foundation runs its own charitable programs across Africa and is a separate entity from International Market Connect LLC. Our tax ID (EIN) is 41-4761798.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Because we are a 501(c)(3) public charity, your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed under U.S. law. You will receive a receipt for your records after you give.
How is my gift used?
We put your donation to work where it has the most impact, funding programs that strengthen local institutions, build skills, expand agriculture and food systems, and open markets across Africa. We are committed to spending responsibly and reporting openly on results, and we make our financial information available upon request. If you would like your gift directed to a specific program, please let us know at partnerships@imcafricaforward.org.
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. We never sell, rent, or trade your information. We use your details only to process your gift and, if you choose, to keep you informed about our work. You are also welcome to give anonymously if you prefer.
Can I support the Foundation in other ways?
Absolutely. Beyond one-time and recurring gifts, we welcome in-kind contributions, professional expertise, and partnerships. If you have something in mind, write to us at [insert email] and we will be glad to talk it through.
How will I hear about the difference my gift makes?
We will keep you updated in whatever way works best for you, whether that is occasional notes on program results or deeper involvement with the work you care about most.
